Junior ROTC is a military regulated elective high school course taught by military personnel at selected private and public high schools in the United States and its territories, whose purpose is to educate high school students in leadership roles while making them aware of the benefits of citizenship

The Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) program has a lot to offer young men and women who want to get the most out of their high school years.  What you will learn in the program will be useful to you now and in the future because much of the instruction and experience you will receive isn't available any other way at the high school level.  JROTC gives you the chance to acquire basic military knowledge and leadership abilities, but its primary objective is to develop good citizenship and patriotism in each student.

The Martin Luther King JROTC Battalion Is Currently A Honor Unit With Distinction

Operating a program is not easy, but building an effective web site can make a huge difference in increasing program awareness and recruitment of JROTC members.

We hope you'll find the information you need on this site about our program and  services and skills we provide.

JROTC Creed

I am an Army Junior ROTC Cadet. I will always conduct myself to bring credit to my family, country, school and the Corps of Cadets. I am loyal and patriotic. I am the future of the United States of America. I do not lie, cheat, or steal; and will always be accountable for my actions and deeds. I will always practice good citizenship and patriotism. I will work hard to improve my mind and strengthen my body. I will seek the mantle of leadership and stand prepared to uphold the Constitution and the American way of life. May God grant me the strength to always live by this creed.
